So Valentines Day is coming up, and here are four gift ideas that you can get for main squeeze. The perfect gift for your loved one when on a budget is always a DIY. This is one of my favourite DIY's to give to a loved one. You get some popsicle sticks and write date ideas on it for the future. colour code the popsicle sticks according to the price range of the date. Or instead of dates you can write a cute message or IOUs on each stick. Picture from here! If you're willing to spend a bit more on your loved one, you can get a perfume or cologne. I think it's quite sweet to receive perfume/ cologne as a gift as scent can be a powerful memory trigger. Cupcakes are another great gift for valentines day. It's a bit different to the usual chocolates and you can splurge on some expensive ones or make some homemade ones. Making a little hamper is another personal gift for valentines day. Fill the basket with things you know your partner loves, like their favourite snack or drink, a voucher, favourite photo together, a cute little soft toy and anything else that has a personal memory or inside joke attached to it. Image is from here! I hope my ideas have helped you! If you're in a last minute rush theres always the cliché of chocolate and roses! Michelle :) Today I am wearing-

Michelle :) This cute thread necklace is incredibly easy to make. I have put a short tutorial together to show how I have made mine but this is so simple, that you could easily put your own spin on it.
Materials: Embroidery thread 3x charms Jump ring 1. Cut 80-100cm long piece of embroidery thread 2. Put charms on to jump ring and close jump ring 3. Thread jump ring with charms onto thread 4. Knot one end of thread to opposite side and repeat on other side to make necklace adjustable in length, or else you can just knot the ends together for one length. Variations: - Use separate jump ring for each charm - Use more than one thread- try different colours! Hope you liked this super easy DIY and if you come up with any other variations feel free to share them in the comments! :) Kim xo This is my OOTD.
I'm going out for my friends 21st dinner tonight What I'm wearing, Top- Supré Skirt- Bettina Liano Shoes- Windsor Smith Watch- Fossil Glasses- Unity As my love for make up has grown, I have had to figure out a way to store it all. Of course my collection is nowhere near as big as any beauty guru but it's big enough to have to find a way to make it look neat and tidy. Here is how I currently store my mini make up collection, and I hope you find it helpful! On the left- Hairbrushes in a ceramic cat toothbrush holder Make up Brushes that aren't used as often rolled up Big palettes and my Benefit 'Primping with the Stars' box tucked into the side Small mirror for close ups On the right- Make up stored in two sets of mini drawers with boxes on the top (I used a box from Samplebar. Most monthly beauty subscriptions have nice boxes you can use or else any box will work) On the left- Foundations, Powders, Concealers, setting sprays On the right- Lipbalms Eye make up wipes Eyelash curler Nail clippers and tweezers Make up sponges and brushes I use often- the brush holder I'm using is a old candle jar cleaned out with lots of little plastic beads Left set of drawers Top drawer- Eye liners- pencil and gel Eye shadow pencils Middle drawer- Mascaras Brow products Eye Shadow base Pencil sharpeners Bottom drawer- Eye shadows Right set of drawers Top drawer- Lipsticks Middle drawer- Lipglosses Lip liners Lip balms Bottom drawer- Bronzers Blushes Other face powders Other eyeshadows Kim xo Today's styling post is slightly different. If you saw my post from two days ago you'll see that I wanted to get my hair cut similar to Beyoncés, and you should be able to see above that I got it cut!!! YAY! I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's a big change for me since my hair has always been a straight cut.
