I have been rewatching the Gossip Girl Series and just finished watching the third season.
I don't want to write about it too much as I am so bad with spoilers but I definitely recommend watching the Gossip Girl series if you haven't yet especially if you like shows with rich, beautiful teenagers living on the upper east side.
I have heard that it is comparable to The OC so if you enjoyed that then definitely check out Gossip Girl :)
What you need-
-Base Coat, I used Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle
-Light Pink Nail Polish, I used Manicure's French Pink
-Black Nail Polish, I used China Glaze's Liquid Leather
-Glitter Nail Polish, I used L.A Girl's 3D Silver
-Top Coat, I used Orly's In a Snap
Step 1- Apply a base coat
Step 2- Paint your nail two coats of a light pink nail polish
Step 3- Paint on two stripes of black nail polish on an angle making a triangle shape. it helps if you put 3 dots in a triangle so its even.
Step 4 - With a striping brush or toothpick. Put a thin line of glitter nail polish below the black nail polish.
Step 5- Use a top coat to prevent the design from chipping and fading. clean up any mess around the finger with a cotton bud or brush dipped in nail polish remover.
I love crochet tops and I think they are a perfect addition to girly up any outfit! I own several crochet tops myself but narrowed this styling post to just 3.
Here are some examples of how i style my lace crochet tops.
Girly and Flirty
Cream long sleeve crochet top
Mint denim skater skirt
White low Chucks
This look is girly, flirty and fun and I love how fresh it looks with the pastel colours. I tucked in the top as it was quite long and i prefer the look of it tucked in, but it would look equally as nice with it untucked.
Multicoloured short sleeve crochet top
This look is perfect for throwing over a bikini for the beach or just worn as a casual everyday outfit. It is super easy to wear.
Orange t-shirt crochet top
Black hi-lo dress
Black leather boots
This look is a little more edgy- pairing a feminine top with some black leather boots. The black dress doesn't have to be hi-lo but I thought the difference in length made the look a little different.
Hope you enjoyed my looks as much as I loved taking the photos with my sister for this post! :)
I got sent these bh cosmetics items when I purchased a make up brush from The Beauty Crush Room.
I had heard of the brand before but was not familiar with it or ever tried any of their products so was super excited when I recieved the lipgloss and gel eyeliner!
I wore both yesterday for work to see how they were and here are my mini reviews on them.
bh cosmetics Gel Eyeliner in Metal
bh cosmetics BH Lip Gloss in 80's Diva
When I first got it I was a bit apprehensive as I don't like using cheap lip glosses as they can be sticky and taste like plastic. But i decided to give it a go and swatched it on my hand.
OMG the colour and pigmentation were amazing. I tried it out on my lips and to my surprise the formula wasn't too sticky and was also quite moisturising. It also didn't taste bad and had a pleasant scent. The brush applicator was really good as it made it easy to apply. So through first impressions this lipgloss definitely passed.
However, when I wore it to work yesterday i did find that it wore off quickly and because the colour is so pigmented it was obvious whenever my lipgloss was wearing off. After a few of hours, the lipgloss was completely gone.
Overall, I think this lipgloss is great and if you don't mind reapplying every couple of hours then this would be a great super affordable lipgloss to add to your collection.
The Beauty Crush Room is no longer trading but I have found this lipgloss on the bh cosmetics website on sale for just US$3.50
I love gel eyeliners and when I saw this colour I was so excited to try it out! The formula is so much more creamy than I expected but works really well.
I applied the gel eyeliner with a brush on my bottom waterline for work yesterday. It applies well and the pigmentation is great. Though it started to smudge a little after a few hours, the liner did last all day. I think it would work better as a liner on the upper eyelid. It could also easily be used as a cream eye shadow, which I will be trying next time I use this product!
Overal, I love this product and think that it is really good quality for the price.
It is available on the bh cosmetics website on sale for US$3.95

My favourite this this week is this Kambrook blender I got for christmas. Its really easy to use and clean.
- It comes with 2x 600ml and 1x 300ml BPA FREE plastic bottles.
- Stainless Steel Blades
- Sturdy Non-slip Feet
What I like about it-
- I really like this blender because it's straight forward and easy to use. Everything is blended in the bottle so all you have to do its removed the blade and swap it for a lid. This makes it really easy to tidy and clean.
- The bottles are an attractive size and shape, it is pearlescent and clear. I really like the small bottle for experimenting different mixes of flavours or for smaller portions. Another great thing about the bottles is that it makes single servings so you don't make to much for yourself.
- There is only one button so I don't get confused with what setting to use
Click on the image and it will take you to the website! :)
