I have been in Malaysia for the last two weeks and obviously I had to go shopping. This is all the clothes, shoes and bags I bought over the two weeks :) I bought a lot at H&M because it was really good price from the clothes. Michelle :) If you read our blog everyday you'll know that we have been slacking off with our posts quite a bit due to the fact that Michelle has been in Malaysia for 2 weeks and I have been super busy with work and uni starting! So we will be starting a new routine so we can post on time each day! We will be posting every second day now and Michelle and I will be alternating each second day. The content will still be the same as we have posted but with more lifestyle and less DIY as they can be very time consuming and at this moment in time neither of us have the time in our life to really post tutorials. We hope you understand and continue to follow and read our blog! Kim xo I've recently been loving my two new Benefits boxes. My make up look below was done with the "The Rich Is Back" box and my eyebrows are done with the "Smokin' Eyes" box. This box has 3 neutral colours and a green eyeshadow. It comes with a small 'They're Real" mascara and lipgloss. It also has a blush and mini brush. This box has 3 neutral shades for a smoke eye, a mini eyeliner, mini duel ended brush, eyebrow wax, highlight and mini tweezers. I love these Benefit boxes because the come with little info booklets that show a clear step by step tutorial and tips. Not too long ago I found out about the Australian brand of Nail polish Ulta3. I purchased Earl Grey from Samplebar.co.nz and was pleasantly surprised at how smooth and well the colour and Polish was for how cheap it was! So I after lots of looking around and researching my sister and I could only find stockists in Australia but none in NZ. When we went to Melbourne last year we found a very very small selection at a 7/11 and bought one each but then when I went to Gold Coast earlier this month I found a big selection for only $2 each at a Terry White Chemist! So together we now have 15 different colours and thought i would do a swatch post on them :) Kim xo So here's my OOTD for today! So casual outfit and a super casual selfie :P Top- Decjuba Shorts- Jeanswest Sandals- brand: Bon bons purchased from DFO Melbourne Kim xo One thing I really love to get when I'm in Malaysia is ice cream from Mcdonald. I know it's really silly but they have more options! Haha so far this trip I have had a chocolate corneto mcflurry and a chocolate flavour twist! Michelle :) My Favourite of the Week is this Mint Chocolate Torte Cake I made earlier in the week!
Felt like baking so decided to bake a cake. The recipe I found off Pinterest (http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/mint-chocolate-torte). As you can see I made some variations. I only had 2 cake tins instead of 3 so I had two cake layers. and my mint filling did not turn out right using the recipe so I created my own cream! I also put the choc topping in the centre instead and put the mint cream on the top as I didn't have enough cream! But overall it turned out surprisingly good (I hardly bake from scratch!) and wasn't too hard! I had way too much though so I cut it up and delivered cake to some of my friends :) Kim xo I'm currently in Malaysia with my mum. Unfortunately I haven't had time to do a tutorial! So below are some photo I've taken for you to look at instead. I promise my next post on a saturday will be a great tutorial!! Michelle Happy Valentine's Day gorgeous people! Here is my OOTD! I'm heading out to deliver mint choc cake (be on the lookout for it- will be coming up in my FOTW!) to my friends and then going to the Auckland Lantern Festival tonight :) |
